- Does the City have Historic Design Guidelines and if so, where can I find them?
The City Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) has adopted the Downtown Design Guidelines prepared by the Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership (DFP) for reviewing exterior alterations to designated local historic sites. Please click on "Downtown Design Guidelines" to view this document.
The City HPC is in the process of developing residential design guidelines for our residential historic sites. As an interim measure, the HPC has adopted the guidelines used by Stoughton, Wisconsin until we have our own in place. Please click on the link provided to view this document.
